Fire Truck! is a thoughtfully designed digital experience aimed specifically at young children. Developed with my own children, ages 2 and 3, in mind, it has been refined through extensive playtesting and feedback from my little testers, ensuring it's engaging and age-appropriate.

The game adopts a style reminiscent of detailed watercolor illustrations found in children's books from the 1980s, creating an inviting and gentle visual environment. Its interface encourages exploration and interaction, allowing children to tap anywhere on the screen without the risk of unintentionally exiting the game or encountering unnecessary complications.

Gameplay is straightforward and intuitive: tapping on various elements produces different effects—touching the sidewalk or sky triggers a spray of water; tapping on the truck changes its color; interacting with the tires makes the truck stop or go; holding on fires extinguishes them, prompting the truck to automatically proceed to address subsequent fires.

The design emphasizes a no-failure approach, free from complex rules or obstacles that might frustrate young players. Scores are recorded automatically and regularly, providing a continuous record of fires extinguished. Importantly, the game contains no advertisements, in-app purchases, external links, data collection, or third-party integrations—ensuring a safe and focused experience for children.
